Dr. Latimer is an internationally renowned epidemiologist and scholar with over 100 peer-reviewed publications and more than $30 million dollars in NIH grants as Principal Investigator. He has conducted NIH-funded studies on infectious disease epidemiology and prevention designed to promote health equity in the US and abroad in South Africa, Russia, Ukraine, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Brazil.
